Sin City is a place where people come to let loose for a wild weekend, which often involves drinking a lot of alcohol. But it’s quite possible to enjoy a trip to Las Vegas without it ending up like a scene from The Hangover.
This article is proof that there are lots of amazing sober activities to enjoy in Las Vegas. In reality, this is a city with so much to offer for non-drinkers – it’s a travel destination filled with scenery, spectacles, and standout experiences.

Taking a stroll through the beautiful Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is a treat for all of your senses. The gorgeous floral presentations, the uplifting sound of waterfalls flowing, and the smell of fresh flowers and tropical plants make this seasonal exhibit one of the coolest free things to do in Vegas. Located inside the Bellagio and open 24 hours a day, this place has to be seen to be believed!

If you time it right, you might walk out of the Bellagio to see the most spectacular fountain display you’ve ever seen. The Bellagio Fountains put on one heck of a water show every half an hour from 3 pm to midnight, with towering columns of water synchronized in time to classic songs like “Fly Me to the Moon” or “Viva Las Vegas”. Fremont Street Experience is the center of activity in Downtown Las Vegas. It’s a pedestrian walkway covering 4 blocks of neon lights (including a ceiling made from the world’s largest LED screen). This is a place where you can experience the vibrant energy of this city without needing a drop of alcohol. Street performers, live music, and seriously good people-watching are just some of the things you’ll find here.

Neon signs are a huge part of Las Vegas’s fascinating history, and The Neon Museum is the heaven where these signs go when they die. Here, the most famous Vegas neon signs are collected, restored, and displayed in a Neon Boneyard that lights up at dusk every evening. The Neon Museum is as pretty as it is educational.

The Pinball Hall of Fame is one of our favorite Vegas hidden gems, and it’s a place where you can get some fun gaming in without setting foot in a casino. This super cool arcade spans 10,000 square feet and is filled with classic pinball machines from the 50s to the 90s – all in working condition!

Vegas’s history is unmistakably connected with the history of the Mob, and this fascinating museum tells the story of the not-so-legal beginnings of Sin City. Housed in the original federal courthouse building in historic Downtown Las Vegas, The Mob Museum is filled with interactive exhibits, including an FBI shooting simulation and a lineup photo opportunity.

Located at Mandalay Bay Resort, this aquarium gets you up close and personal with more than 2,000 sea creatures. Shark Reef Aquarium is a great place to escape from the desert heat and enjoy a relaxed, immersive adventure while learning about life under the sea. AREA15 is an enormous entertainment complex filled to the brim with eye-opening immersive experiences that you don’t need a drink to enjoy. Inside its walls, you’ll find Omega Mart: the most mind-bending grocery store you’ve ever been to, an immersive bird simulator that lets you try out what it’s like to fly like a bird, an axe-throwing gallery, and a giant neon brain that can read your mind!

This amazing, immersive art museum allows you to step inside the works of art, featuring multisensory exhibits with aromas and sounds. Step into a world of breathtaking landscapes by exploring hyper-realistic digital works displayed on giant screens that cover the walls, floors, and ceilings. Arte Museum Las Vegas has to be experienced to be believed.

Take a relaxing and educational walk through the Springs Preserve – a 180-acre cultural learning attraction that shows you there’s a lot more to Vegas than the bright lights and casinos. Discover desert flora and fauna as you stroll through the botanical gardens and animal exhibits, and check out the Nevada State Museum while you’re there.

When you’re on the Las Vegas Strip, it’s hard to believe there would be a natural desert wonderland just 20 minutes away. Red Rock Canyon is a place of spectacular beauty, with copper-red mountains, waterfalls, and a wide variety of amazing native flora and fauna.
