Day One

Morning: Enjoy a Buffet Brunch in a Castle

Las Vegas is famous for its amazing buffets: all-you-can-eat restaurants where you can stack your plate with delicious cuisine from around the world. The most affordable buffet on the Las Vegas Strip is at Excalibur, a medieval-themed hotel that looks like a fairytale castle.

Weekday brunch (which runs Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 2 pm) costs only $33 per adult, and kids eat for free with the purchase of an adult meal. Start your Vegas adventure by fueling up on pancakes, bacon and eggs, shrimp, fresh fruit, and more at Excalibur Buffet.

Jump on board Big Bus Tours’ double-decker bus and take a ride up and down the Las Vegas Strip. This hop-on, hop-off tour runs all the way from the south end of the Strip to Downtown Vegas and back, so it’s the perfect way to learn the layout of the city on your first day here.

This bus tour stops at all of the most famous sights, including the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, the Bellagio Fountains, and the iconic casinos. Along the way, you can explore at your leisure and take advantage of the best photo opportunities in Vegas.

Evening: Explore the Neon Museum

Cost: $35

The Neon Museum is where the bright neon signs of Las Vegas go when they die. Neon signs are a huge part of the history of this city, and a visit to this unique museum in is a cool way to learn a bit about Vegas’s past while also capturing some gorgeous selfies.

At night, the Neon Museum’s outdoor Neon Boneyard lights up over 200 unrestored neon signs, and wandering around here is as beautiful as it is educational. This is one of our favorite places for exploring the retro side of Vegas.

Day Two

Morning: Chill by the Pool

Cost: FREE!

One of the best ways to relax and stay cool in Las Vegas is hanging out at the pool. This city has some incredible swimming pools, and your hotel is sure to have one. Riding the High Roller is a must-do when you’re visiting Vegas, and it doesn’t cost much at all!
