best budget friendly hotel on the strip??

there are 4 of us flying in to vegas on february 29th coming thru march 3rd :D what is the best budget friendly hotel on the strip??

A trip to Vegas on a leap day sounds exciting! I suggest choosing The LINQ or Flamingo hotel – both cheap and in the heart of the Strip, convenient for sightseeing and still economical.

Hurrah’s reasonably priced, great cocktail service, great value for what you get. Centre of the strip, great pools for the extreme hot days.

That sounds great! Did you stay in a renovated room or one of the older ones? I’ve heard there’s a big difference. I ask a little question. How crowded do thier pool get during peak summer days? I am thinking of going in July and trying to avoid the crowds.
