Charlie Palmer Steak - Charlie Palmer's spacious, warm ochre-toned rooms are designed for comfort, and just a short distance away. Menus change with the seasons, but you can always expect creative starters like crisp oysters with truffle-scented potato salad, chilled potato-leek soup with Dungeness crab, and superb sirloin carpaccio with shaved Parmigiano Reggiano. Steak is king here, certified Black Angus dry-aged for 21 days. A 38-ounce rib steak is prepared for two, porcini ragoût accompanies the pepper-seared hangar steak, and surf-and-turf pairs a six-ounce filet mignon with roasted lobster.
