THE HOTEL AND ITS FEATURES
A new $3.9 billion dollar mega-hotel is now on the Las Vegas Strip. It is The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Hotel. You will find it between the Bellagio Hotel and City Center. It is magnificent looking structure.

The hotel is 52 stories and has almost 3,000 rooms. There are 3 swimming pools. In the hotel are 13 restaurants (each different and unique). Since this is Las Vegas, there is a casino that is amazing both in its size and technology.

In designing the hotel two things were kept in mind. First, the rooms and suites have a residential style, so they are large and decorated as a luxurious home. Second, whenever possible, they have an outstanding view of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding areas.

Other features of the hotel include a spa, currency exchange, concierge, beauty and barber shop services, and over 60,000 sq feet of retail and boutique shops. A few of the
other amenities are internet access, laundry service, room service and free parking.

DINING
You will find thirteen great restaurants in the Cosmopolitan.
Each has been designed by a well known chef and has a most distinctive approach to food.

BLUE RIBBON SUSHI BAR AND GRILL: Here you will find chops, fillets, sushi and many bistro favorites.	CHINA POBLANO: Be ready for the blending together of Mexican and Chinese food. Enjoy a fusion of noodles and tacos.
D.O.C.G.: This is a high end Italian wine bar that serves pizza, pasta, steaks and chops.	COMME CA: In this restaurant you will find the continental flavor of a French Brasserie along with cocktails made by experts.
ESTIATORIO MILOS: Grecian and Mediterranean dishes are at the heart of the menu. There is an accent on world-wide seafood.	JALEO: You can make a meal out of their wonderful Spanish Tapas, which are appetizers. Typical dinners of Spain are also served here.
SCARPETTA: The cuisines of both Northern and Southern Italy are served with such magnificent gourmet touches that you cannot help but be more than satisfied.	STK: Imagine a steak house that's fun. Not just meat and potatoes. Here it is flirty, with a sexy vibe created by the in-house DJ. Great steaks and a celebrity hotspot.
THE HENRY: Old-school revamped classics. Vegas strip cuisine that is a reinterpretation of tried and true dishes and drinks.	VA BENE CAFFE: This is an excellent coffee bar. Aside from a great selection of coffees they have salads, gelato and other very satisfying light fare.
WICKED SPOON BUFFET: Almost everybody likes a buffet. But this one is exceptional. The food quality is excellent. It has well-crafted original selections for every appetite and a mix of top quality familiar staples in addition to imaginative and seasonal dishes. The main dishes and deserts will tempt your appetite.

ROOM SUITES AND THEIR FEATURES

TERRACE STUDIO:


This is a large luxurious room, over 600 sq. ft., with a sliding glass doors leading out to a terrace. It has an oversized bath with a special shower. The wall treatments and the furniture are all high-end decorator. You get the feeling of a wealthy residence.

The view from the terrace can be breathtaking. There is a modern kitchenette with a microwave. The studio has a large plasma television along with a whole host of amenities.

A few of the amenities are: cordless telephone, internet access, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, in room movies and a mini-bar.

CITY ROOM:


If you can imagine a beautifully decorated room with a magnificent view of the city, you will be in the Cosmopolitan City Room. The room has a small but modern kitchenette. It has a warm and comfortable feel.

There is a large well appointed bathroom. The City Room has a two very comfortable queen size bed. A plasma television sits on the wall. Great attention to detail has gone into the City Room. Some of the amenities are: a telephone, internet access, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, in room movies and a mini-bar.


TERRACE ONE BEDROOM PREMIUM VIEW:


Like many of the other rooms in the Cosmopolitan this accommodation is large ( 610 sq. ft.) and extremely well decorated from the wall treatments to the furnishings. It has a sliding glass door leading out to a terrace. The view from the terrace is spectacular.

There is a well appointed bathroom that some in good humor may call decadent. You will find a more than comfortable king size bed. The room has a small but modern kitchenette with a microwave along with a plasma television.

Some of the amenities are: hair dryer, internet access, telephone, iron, ironing board, mini-bar and in room movies


TERRACE ONE BEDROOM:


This is a large very luxuriously decorated accommodation of
610 sq. ft. It has sliding glass doors leading on to a good
size terrace. The large bathroom is equipped with a Japanese soaking tub. In the midst of it all, a magnificent king size bed,

You will also find a kitchenette complete with microwave. On the wall is a large plasma television. Some of the other amenities include a phone, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, in room movies, internet, and a mini-bar.

TERRACE ONE BEDROOM FOUNTAIN VIEW:
Aside from the magnificent luxury of the room, it offers a
panoramic view of the Las Vegas skyline and especially of
the Boulevard at night. The room is 610 sq. ft. A sliding glass door leads to the terrace. The room is extremely well furnished including a truly king size bed.

Along with the wonderfully appointed bathroom you will find a Japanese soaking tub. The room also has a kitchenette complete with microwave. There is a plasma television and in room movies.

Some of the other amenities are a hair dryer, mini-bar, iron and ironing board and internet access. Oh, and the best amenity of all, the sun-light that streams in from the terrace.


TERRACE SUITE:


This large lavish suite has a closed off bedroom, There are two huge decadent bathrooms, one with a bubbler tub. The suite is 910 sq. ft. and of course has a king size bed. It has a complete kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is even a washer/dryer.

There are sliding glass doors leading out to the terrace. The panoramic view of the Las Vegas skyline can be breathtaking. You will find almost any amenity that you could wish for. There are large plasma televisions, in room movies, phone, internet, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and mini-bar.

The suite gives you the feeling of being in a large luxurious home.


WRAP AROUND TERRACE SUITE:



This large luxury suite has a terrace that surrounds most of it. The suite, which is 1,200 sq. ft., has three sliding glass doors that open on to the terrace. From its wall treatments. to the furniture, to the wonderful view, you will find it inspirational.

The wrap around terrace is almost 500 sq. ft.. There is a completely equipped modern kitchen. You will find a washer / dryer within the suite. There is even distinctive glassware.
Its two bathrooms are charmingly decadent with their tubs and showers.

The spacious bedroom has truly comfortable king size bed. You will find large plasma televisions in convenient locations.
Great attention has been paid to detail. There are cordless telephones, a mini-bar, hair dryers, in room movies, iron, ironing board and internet access.


THINGS TO DO, ENTERTAINMENT AND OTHERWISE

MARQUEE NIGHTCLUB & DAYCLUB


The developers of Marquee, a one-of-a-kind nightclub, are the same people who have created hot spots in New York City and the Hamptons. Even by the slightly jaded Las Vegas standards this is a spectacular club.

Here's an interesting twist. There is a 'Day Club' associated with the Marquee nightclub, so you can party day and night. It is coupled with one of the three pools in the hotel. In the daytime it is a beach lounge and in the evening an extension of the nightclub. Marquee has quickly become one of the hottest most popular clubs in Vegas.


THE THREE SWIMMING POOLS


The Cosmopolitan’s district of 3 distinct Las Vegas pool experiences lets you choose the scene that best suits your mood. With unrivaled service, premium amenities, pristine pools, manicured grounds and views unlike any in Vegas, you’ll take away much more than just a tan.

BOULEVARD POOL
This is a large multi-level pool that overlooks the Las Vegas Strip. It creates the feeling of an open air theater with the pool being the center stage.

BAMBOO POOL
This pool provides areas of varying degrees of seclusion. Because of the surrounding architecture you get the impression that you are in a private canyon.

MARQUEE DAYCLUB POOL
At this pool you will be provided with an adult beach club experience. There is a distinct lounge like atmosphere. In the evening this pool becomes an extension of the Cosmopolitan Marquee Nightclub.


THE CASINO
The word amazing understates this casino. First, it is over 100,000 square feet with floor to ceiling glass windows giving you spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip as you play. How's that for openers. It is also equipped with every gambling technology available. They even have special Gaming Cabanas.

When it comes to high-end shopping, or even just looking around, you are in a great location. Also, you are close by other Strip hotels that have great shopping centers.

Staying at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas you are surrounded by venues with the finest of shows. They for the most part are all close by. One of the easiest and best ways (unless your brother-in-law is the star) to get good show tickets is have the hotel concierge get them for you. He has the connections.

OUTDOOR RECREATION
Because of the unique geographical location of Las Vegas there are many interesting outdoor activities. You can go hiking, climbing and biking in beautiful Red Rock. If you wish,
swimming, snorkeling, jet skiing and sailing are also reasonably close by. In winter there is skiing and snow sports.
