1149 foot tower view and world's highest thrill rides
Property amenities: The Stratosphere consists of 2,444 rooms in two towers, one with 24 floors and the other with nine. Facilities include a health and beauty spa offering body and facial treatments and in-room or poolside massage in addition to a full menu of beauty services. The hotel contains two video-game arcades, including a large one encircling the tower's base. Some 50 shops are also located at the tower's base.
What to expect: Rising 113 stories, the tower is the tallest free-standing structure in the West. Elevators whisk guests to indoor and outdoor observation decks with 360-degree views of the mountain-ringed desert valley. At night, the valley becomes a neon sea. This hotel appeals to both budget-minded vacationers and families.
Amenity highlights: The tower offers a revolving restaurant, a lounge, the world's highest rollercoaster, and "The Big Shot" ride, in which thrillseekers are thrust up the tower's needle and repeatedly dropped down. Cabanas furnished with a ceiling fan, television, telephone, and padded lounges can be rented around the large, eighth-floor rooftop pool, which contains basketball hoops and a volleyball net. Next to the pool, a 12-person, freeform spa supplies convivial soaking. Also within the pool complex is a fitness center with an outdoor free-weight area.
Their more traditional Vegas resort pool, the Level 8 Pool, is located outdoors on the 8th floor of the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower. This recreation area features a 67,000-square-foot deck, hot tub, poolside cafe and bar. Enjoy the fabulous view of the Vegas skyline and surrounding mountains from 8 stories above the Strip at their Las Vegas hotel swimming pool. Bubble your cares away with a chilled libation in the hot tub, join in a rousing game of water volleyball, or try your hand at Bikini Blackjack. Enjoy burgers, salads and other delicious bar food served poolside at the Pool Cafe. When you’re visiting during the warmer months, be sure to mark your calendar to join special pool parties on special holidays like Memorial Day and 4th of July. Their Las Vegas Resort Pool Parties feature drink specials like 2-for-1 Bottle Service and pool games like beer pong, ping pong and bags. If you’re seeking a more quiet retreat from the crowd you will find shade and privacy by renting a Cabana. Whether you want to sun, swim, dine, party or just chill out, Level 8 Pool is your ideal getaway.
