The hotel's 86,654-square-foot casino has nickel to $500 slots, 300 video poker machines, 70 game tables, 24-hour live keno, and a race and sports book. Clint Holmes, "the Voice of Las Vegas," plays at Harrah's every night except Sunday. Along with a 12-piece band, Holmes performs popular songs, including Las Vegas standards and current hits. Other shows include The Mac King Comedy Magic Show and Skintight, a sensual late-night adult review. An Olympic-size swimming pool is bordered by a large sundeck with plenty of lounge chairs. A poolside café serves drinks and light meals. Guests may rent pool cabanas, which include refrigerators, phones, TVs, fruit baskets, juice and water, newspapers, towels, and rafts.
Insider tip: Carnaval Court (pictured above) is the large, open-air area between Harrah's and the Imperial Palace. It is a popular casual nightspot with gaming tables, live music, beer and food vendors, and a high-energy atmosphere. It is one of the few outdoor places along the Vegas Strip to enjoy a snack and hear live music.

The hotel has an Olympic-size swimming pool with a large sundeck and ample lounge chairs for sunbathing. A fee of $20 per day (or $50 for 3 days and $15 for each day thereafter) allows use of the on-site health club with its private lockers, towels, spa tub, saunas, and steam room. Guests can work out using a variety of cardiovascular and weight-training equipment plus receive a 20-minute tanning session.
Harrah's Rio Secco Golf Club is 14 miles from the hotel. Hotel guests receive preferential tee times at this 18-hole championship course. The par-72 Rio Secco is set among the foothills of the Black Mountains, overlooking the Las Vegas skyline. Equipment rental and the Butch Harmon Golf School are also available at Rio Secco.
