Always Watch Around You
When playing table games, the best (and most basic) advice I can give you is watch your chips!
I've learned that not only is Vegas a great place to visit, it's also a place where you need to be aware of your surroundings at all times.
You will encounter a cast of characters that would make Barnum and Bailey proud here.
More often than not, these "characters" are there to distract you.
I've personally come across one woman who walks up and puts her arm around you and propositions you (no, she wasn't attractive) then quickly leaves.
Another guy plops down next to you at a 21 table and talks a mile a minute while constantly gesturing with his hands ever so closer to your stack of chips.
I was fortunate enough to keep my eyes and hands on my stash. A suggestion put your smallest denominations of chips to the outside and higher denominations in the middle no matter what game you play.
Don't let yourself get distracted. Also, don't drink too much. I know that makes me a party poop!
You may not come across as friendly, but it's better than looking down and seeing all your chips are missing.
