Default Vegas Heat

I'm thinking about doing a Las Vegas trip now, but the 107+ temps are scaring me. I've never gone during the Summer. How bad is it and what can you do to keep as cool as possible. I don't get along very well in the heat. I've been thinking about sleeping all day and just going out at night.

When I use to do summers I gambled between 11:00 PM and about 8:00 AM and had a great time. Slept all day; ate breakfast around 4 in the afternoon. It took some adjustments when I got back to normal life but it was fun.

When I do summers with friends now I will always carry water, stay inside as much as I can and allow for a afternoon siesta. Oh, I also ask for a pool view as some of the sights are beyond belief.

All I get to see six days a week this summer is the back end of a cow. My next two week trip will be September when the temperature is in the 80's and 90's.... or i hope it will. (never can tell looking ahead)

I am fair skinned and can't handle the heat of southern Nevada during the summer. Good Luck to all who travel there in summer

Thanks for the advice. I'm getting ready to book something. Any tips on which hotels have the best pool view sights

I'll answer that one; any hotel casino with a European rules pool area is topless. Unfortunately I don't know of which hotels I speak. Check with the websites or on line staff.

A hotel room view of a topless pool would be fantastic. My guess is the hotels keep these areas secluded, but it is a great suggestion!
