Default WHY Take Kids to Las Vegas?

Is there nothing you can do with them and leave them at home?
I travelled for years with a mentally handicapped child who is now an adult but I always brought a babysitter. It was not much fun until she learned table games after turning 21. It still takes from my "pleasures" now.

Lightbulb Las Vegas + Kids

I think kids can have a good time in Las Vegas. We even have a section that gives what we felt are the top 10 kid-friendly hotels Arcades, thrill rides, and big swimming pools are a draw for them. Circus Circus and Excalibur lead the list. Side trips to places like Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon are another good option if you have kids going with you.

However, even with these kid-friendly hotels, Las Vegas does not come close to a place like Disneyland or Disney World. Most casinos will not let anyone under the age of 21 stop or sit down in them. You can only walk through them. Other hotels like Bellagio are even more strict and restrict guests under 18 from even being in the hotel if you are not registered. That being the case, I'm sure you can see the problem kids present, since the main attraction in Las Vegas (casinos) do not allow them around. Many of the larger shows also restrict them. Baby sitting and daycare / childcare services are available for a fee at some of the hotels, such as The Palms and Orleans. There are also places hotels can suggest to you that offer daycare facilities.

Thumbs up Re: any kid friendly places?

We have been going to Vegas for years we have two sons and both have been many times of course we spend alot of time at the circus, and just walking around taking the sights many things to see threw a few rocks small ones of course at the bums passed out along the strip drove around looking at things we don't see in a small town been shopping bought everthing from shoes to laptop computers at prices we can't find at home. The town has alot to offer if you look alot more than just gambling, even been to the libary, for the price and things to do, excitement, shows, we would not vacation anywhere else, and we have been from Alaska to Florida.
VEGAS tops them all.
