I have been using a craps practise setup for the last few months and would be willing to share or discuss this topic and answer any queries.

Are you trying to learn how to roll certain numbers? I would think that this would be next to impossible to achieve.
I heard that quantum theory says that every outcome happens, but in parallel universes, which at some level means every number of the dice shows up for a given role. I know this is just on a quantum level, but all things are made out of quantum parts, so there might be some connection to the "real world" we see. I've always thought you could influence an outcome to happen in "your" universe with the right thinking. I've noticed that large crowds always seem to generate more winning streaks then a table that is less crowded or empty. I can't prove it, but it really seems like a crowd makes a difference, or having the right winning attitude can give you an edge. VegasGuy |

I have played craps a little and talked craps a lot. In my opinion a passline player is not so much seeking any particular number so much as trying to beat the probability of rolling a 7. (1:6) It is particularly fun when the seven only appears to keep the balance on a comeout roll and stays away for 50-100 rolls when attempting the point. This is when lots of money can be made.

Vegas Guy I am studying how I throw dice. I am not so much concerned with hitting my point as I am with hitting any point number and manipulating the 7 to show mostly on a comeout roll when it pays someone like me. I would prefer to walk away from the table and buy a lady a drink B 4 I would consider throwing from the "don't" prespective. Also, by practising before playing for real $$$ I have found I start psyched and more limber. On some days if practise is hitting more sevens than points I will take the night/evening off and socialize here at the local casinos.
I have not been to Las Vegas since my 2 weeks in April but I am going for about 18 days in Sept. 06 and 7 more in December for the NFR. All my real dollar practise has been on double odds tables but I am planning to take whatever I discover to the 10X and 100X tables available in Las Vegas and apply it. What I know so far is not "setting the dice" but "rolling in rythym" seems to be more beneficial. "Soft Tosses" and a "light grasp" deems to deliver better passline results too. The only other thing I know is I don't yet know enough. I will keep the group advised of my findings and possible winnings in early October. ![]() |

I was just re-reading all the threads on this topic and Vegas guy you are right positive thinking makes all the difference. " If you think you can or you think you can't- you're right"
I believe a longer roll at a craps table brings the crowds but not leaving quick enough when the roll is over allows the casino to recoup much of the losses a hot roller provides. Saying that, even in a hot roll you have to know how best to bet. Unfortunately you really don't know that til the roll is over. ![]() |

more information: varying the dice set but keeping the rythymn in the throws seems to work just as well as a one way only set of the dice. Still avoiding all objects on the table is paramount.
I got bored and I set the side view of the dice on top and put my point number on the side and I actually last night had my longest roll B4 a sevenout 19 rolls. These once or twice a night longer rolls keeps my average between 7-11 in a night but I also start 7/11, set the point, then sevenout about twice a night during a 4 hour session. This is costly to those who wait to jump on my throws immediately instead of doing a 5 count (or other plan) B4 betting or pushing the house. |
