Dice setting will not work in all cases but dice influencing is possible. The longer you practise, the more you maintain a similar dice throwing approach, and avoid anything on the table( hands, chips, money, etc.) the more likely you are to be richer. To increase the ratio of point numbers before the "7" shows.

Now with practise and diligence your throws may make you someone who should only bet the horn or high lows, or stick to the inside numbers, but you will determine a style that can make you money. I am not saying to set any particular numbers but do not throw if the seven is on top. Better let the seven total from the side of the dice.

My belief is as long as your efforts work more often, rather than less often, and you enjoy what you are doing then you are a winner. Increasing your bankroll is a side benefit.
