I like playing the pass line but rather than leave a cold table I will reluctantly play the don't. Also, when I get a "gut instinct" (no valid reason) about my co-gamblers I will play the don't until my turn with the dice; then I switch back to the passline. I do this in Alberta more than Nevada.
