Sailor this is the first of your reports I've read and i agree with the other poster; you write well. I will watch for more when you write again.
My only hooker story in over 35 years happened the year before they blew up the old Sands and it was a Saturday afternoon in one of their lounges. I went to a bar for a break from table action and to collect my thoughts. Soon a young lady approached and started chatting. We shared a few minutes when she said, "Are you alone?" I responded YES. She said, "Did I want her company?" I just said "NO" ( It was still a few years before Mrs Ronald Reagan penned the phrase about drugs) As she slipped from the lounge seat across from me and stood up she turned and said to me, " So tell me what do you do for excitement and companionship when you are by yourself in Vegas? I just looked at her and said politely, "I GAMBLE" With that she worked her way to the bar and approached another male sitting by himself.
One other thought comes to mind: she mentioned $300.00 she needed for rent arrears and I thought what a lousy sales pitch. Sell the sizzle not the steak.
