Largest US indoor theme park offers free circus acts

The hotel contains a cobblestone shopping promenade featuring a kids' clothing shop, a clown store, a sports memorabilia shop, and sweet shops.

What to expect: A 123-foot-high neon presence at the entrance, Lucky the Laughing Clown symbolizes the resort's family-oriented atmosphere. Strolling entertainers create a lively ambience with juggling, magic, and balloon animals.

Amenity highlights: Free shows by aerialists, acrobats, jugglers, and magicians occur every half-hour from 11 AM to midnight in the main casino. Three pools offer warm-weather fun. All are adjoined by large spas offering bubbly soaking.

Insider tip: On Sundays, THE Steakhouse's popular champagne brunch is packed with reservations for late morning and early afternoon seatings, but walkups can usually be accommodated during the 9:30 AM seating.

The Chuck Jones Experience is a nearly 10,000 square-foot destination. At its entrance is the 1,000 square-foot glass-enclosed class room where creative art projects will be encouraged and guided by teachers Your first stop on the guided tour is the 1930's-style movie theater. There, you'll meet Chuck Jones via a short film and after, you'll walk down a virtual street surrounded by many of Jones' most memorable characters and a timeline of his extraordinary life, ending up in a re-creation of Jones' studio where he worked and discovered some of this most famous characters, like Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner and many more. From there you'll experience the characters in 3-D and learn more about how characters are developed while viewing some of the original drawings made by Jones' while discovering these characters. Move onto "Animation Alley" where a multimedia wall displays animation pieces from the permanant collection from the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity and other animation studio collections. You'll end the tour with a visit to the Acme Workshop where you can try your hand at creating sound effects and voiceovers for a Chuck Jones cartoons. Don't forget to visit the gift shop for items to commemorate your trip.

Rooms are located in several buildings. However, all the rooms are about the same. The Skyrise Tower is a 29-story tower that includes a casino and features the property’s two pools. The West Tower is a 35-story, 1,000 room tower and includes the Hotel Lobby and Shopping Promenade. The Promenade centrally connects the Adventuredome Theme Park, Skyrise and Casino Towers.

A third more budget option is to stay in their Manor Motor Lodge, which is a five three-story detached buildings with self-parking located a half-block from Circus Circus. You need to walk a bit, but the rooms are more economical.
