Aside from glittering lights, shows, restaurants and casinos Las Vegas has another form or recreation and that is the buffet. There is something almost magnetic about how the assortment of foods that are there for the taking. It seems to draw people from all walks of life. There is no question that the food is plentiful, flavorful and appeals to the American taste.
Here I am standing in the buffet line waiting impatiently to have my plate filled with food that I would never dream of ordering at home. I’m starting to think about my weight problem. People like me actually have two problems. First we are over-weight and secondly we beat ourselves up mentally because we’re over-weight. I begin to think, maybe I should just have a dieters low calorie breakfast, a little juice, toast and coffee.
Oh God, just look at those home fried potatoes, I know that I am in serious trouble. Suddenly I figure it all out. I will diet when I get home.
