Free Tram/Monorail Service
Monorail - Between Bellagio and Monte Carlo
There is a free monorail service which operates on the west side of the strip between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo. This is a very clean and quick service which transports you quickly between the two hotels. It is well worth catching this service at the Monte Carlo casino end, as it brings you into a part of the Bellagio hotel which you may not come across otherwise. You will pass a coffee and chocolate shop where you will see the famous Chocolate Fountain and the Conservatory/Botanical Garden area which is something that should definitely not be missed. Check for hours of operation.
Tram - Between Treasure Island and Mirage
Another free tram service which operates between these two hotels. It is only a short journey but can be useful if you want to get between the two hotels possibly late at night. This is not a 24 hour service and times vary so you will need to check upon arrival for hours of operation.
Tram - Between Mandalay Bay,
Luxor & Excalibur hotels
A free tram service which operates between these 3 hotels located at the south end of the strip. This tram service can be very useful as the hotels are spaced out quite considerably. Check upon arrival for hours of operation.
PARKING
All the large hotels/casinos have there own self parking areas with a large majority of them being free of charge so you do not need to worry about hefty car parking fees. For a fee, you can use valet parking with someone parking your car for you and then collecting it when you wish to leave. Valet service can be very handy especially at busy times when parking spaces may be short, or if you are late for a show or late meeting someone etc.
Public Bus Service
Citizens Area Transit (CAT) bus service has 49 routes throughout the Las Vegas Valley and Henderson. Cost for a one-way fare on the Strip is $2 (route 301); off-Strip fares are $1.25 one way. Strip routes run 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
